Viaduct is seeking a Full Stack Engineer position for a company looking to grow their Web/Cloud Applications team responsible for contributing to the development of our Applications framework.  This is a highly visual applications that the company delivers to Mining and Infrastructure industry. The successful candidate will love collaborating on high energy, Agile teams and working with Product and QA to ensure features are well defined, delightfully designed and delivered with high quality.
  • Take key product features from concept to release, while working with your team members to make sure the design, architecture, and backend functionality supports those features.
  • Contributes to the overall design and architecture of our web platform. You’ll collaborate by giving and receiving code reviews, tech talks, and other technical feedback.
  • Build single-page web applications using modern Javascript frameworks like Angular.
  • Analyze and debug JavaScript performance in the browser.
  • Work with Machine Learning, photogrammetry and computer vision teams to bring new information and insight to the user.
  • Develop pipeline to render and interact with 3D data on the web.
Design, build and maintain data processing engines that integrate to a high volume data processing pipeline.
Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • 3 years of full stack web development (HTML, JS, CSS, with a focus on JS).
  • 2 years experience with Angular, Angular js, Ruby, Python

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Ideally one of experience with an Angular app.
  • Experience writing performant, scalable, testable and well-documented Javascript (ES6+)
  • Experience instrumenting and tracking applications in production using tools like Sentry.
  • Good understanding of application architecture and algorithm optimization
  • Familiarity with source control, ideally git.
  • A background in 3D graphics and a love of great UI/UX
