Acara Solutions is hiring entry-level, 1st Shift Medical Assemblers for our client located in Irvine, CA.
 
THERE IS NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED- WE WILL PAY YOU TO TRAIN.

Requirements:
-High School Diploma or Equivalent
-Must be able to pass an English reading test, drug screen, and background check.
 
This will be a Temp-to-Hire opportunity and will pay at $12.00 per hour. Work hours will be 5:00am- 1:30pm.

There is NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED for this role (High School Diploma is mandatory). Qualified candidates will enter our best in class training program to support your career success, prior to working in the cleanroom manufacturing floor.

  • Assembles, with direct supervision, within a small team structure to produce volume to mix and adheres, first and foremost, to GMP requirements required for the team/individual’s job metrics. ( Per Quality and Manufacturing procedures)
  • Must maintain a high level of cooperation and positive interaction with team members and peers to meet desired results and to contribute beyond the assigned tasks.
  • Follows company/department policies and guidelines, including but not limited to, clean room adherence, company attendance and safety policies, ensuring all near misses and/or injuries are reported in a timely manner to the supervisor.
  • Read drawings and Work Orders, collect materials required (Material Handling), and/or Package and label product
  • Document work performed by initialing and dating Work Order
  • Notify lead/supervisor of discrepancies
  • Responsible for understanding training provided by company. May be responsible for training others as required.
  • Works directly with the Line Lead and reports into the Production Supervisor.
  • Highlights areas of concern/problems in own job area to lead/supervisor

Job Requirements

 
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma
  • Must pass an English Reading Examination
  • Must be able to pass drug and background
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus due to frequent use of a microscope.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Very good manual dexterity skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, specifications, simple instructions, short correspondence, company policies and memos
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, ability to write simple correspondence
  • Follow Environmental, Health and Safety guidelines
  • Ability to apply common sense, personal integrity and understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
  • Strong desire for continuous learning
  • Willingness to be flexible, team oriented and open minded to new processes or changes in direction
  • Previous experience within a team environment, desire for collaboration in order to problem solve and achieve business objectives
  • Ability to interface with Auditor
Physical Requirements:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to be independently mobile.  The employee is also required to interact with a computer, and communicate with peers and co-workers.
  • Be available to work overtime when required
  • Must be able to work in a Controlled Environment Area.
  • Must be able to perform repetitive job tasks.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Frequent use of a microscope.
  • Some exposure to chemicals.
  • Able to lift up to 40lbs.
