Acara Solutions is HIRING several Manufacturing Operators for a Global Military Aerospace manufacturer in Radford, VA

These are Entry Level positions open to those with mechanical skill sets.
 
Duties include;
  • Separates and shapes magnet wires extending from stator.
  • Operates machine stripper or hand tool to remove insulation from magnet wire.
  • Wraps magnet wire onto lead wires and applies solder.
  • Applies tubing around solder connections.
  • Applies "putty" on lead wires to secure proper position.
  • Applies varnish to stator winding, where applicable
  • Applies glue and activator by brush to stator and rotor assemblies.
  • Attaches circuit board onto heat sink and applies "potting" compound.
  • Completes final motor assembly.
  • Tests motor performance per specifications.
  • Prepares and packages final motor assembly.

Job Requirements

 
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Manufacturing Operator
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
