Pay rate: $16/hr. 
Day Shift - 7 am 
 
Primary Function:
 
Responsible for ensuring that assemblers have the supplies they need on a consistent basis to manufacture fixtures and components.
 
Responsibilities, Skills, and Competencies:
 
1.       Anticipate and deliver components, packaging supplies, and material corresponding to orders to work areas as required.
  1.    Move completed skids from production floor to shipping as needed.
  2.     Report any quality issues, damaged or defective materials.
  3.        Identify non-conformances.
  4.       Complete shop records accurately.
  5.        Communicates well with colleagues and team leaders.
  6.       Handle medium-to-heavy materials intermittently.
  7.       Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned
  8.       Able to lift up to 50lbs; may work in hot areas 5%, noise 0%.
  9.     Ensure adherence to Health and Safety as well as active participation in 5S activities in work area.
 
Job Requirements

 
Qualifications and Educational Requirements:
 
·         High School Diploma or equivalent experience
·         1 – 2 years of experience in material handling
·         At least 2 years of Manufacturing experience preferred
·         Demonstrated dexterity and ability to under simple to complex assemblies
·         Ability to lift loads up to 50lbs
·         Current and valid forklift operation certificate
·         Medium to highly detail-oriented
·         Experience with electrical fixtures material and component manufacturing preferred
 
Must be comfortable moving large sheet metal using a forklift as well as being able to tell the difference between the different sheet metal. These sheets of metal come in various sizes, thickness (similar to how cardboard have different sizes and thickness), weight, finishes, and are stacked in a way that can be daunting when moving the material in the area
