Acara Solutions is looking for Cylinder Bar Coder for our Client located in Odessa, TX
  • Bar code-placing the stickers on the cylinders.
  • Scanning serial numbers.
  • Uploads into the system.
  • Assist production personnel in removing full cylinders from fill area.
  • Sorts empty cylinders by type and places in empty inventory in readiness for filling.
  • Performs cylinder maintenance such as painting, labeling and cleaning.
  • Inspect all cylinders for general condition and report all issues to management.
  • Checks for cylinder quantities, styles and product and assist with inventory tracking.
  • Report all cylinder shortages to management.
Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a warehouse or factory setting
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Perform basic math functions
  • Read and comprehend MSDS, FDA, DOT, OHSA and other company documents
  • Possess excellent customer service skills, verbal and written communication skills, and computer knowledge
  • Self-starter, highly motivated, energetic, and enjoy working as part of a team.
  • Works under very close supervision, monitored task by task.
  • Work is mechanical, recurrent, routine or repetitive in nature.
  • Maintains a safe and clean work area.
Additional Information:
  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • Perform very heavy work – Any lifts over 45lbs will be assisted.
  • Perform work during prolonged standing up to 8 hours; frequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, grasping, feeling and repetitive motion
  • Able to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and background.
  • Warehouse work area is not air conditioned or heated.
