Acara solutions is looking for Technician Level 1 for our Client located in Orlando, FL
  • The position is a hands-on aerospace-engineering hardware-focused fabrication technician located within the Mechanical Engineering RAPID Center.
  • The primary job responsibility is to assist in the development of 3-D printed products, model parts and assemblies, in support of internal customers for display, training and development.
  • Technician will post process 3-D printed components, maintain equipment and lab space, assemble, paint and modify parts to product specifications.
  • Technician will ensure compliance with all applicable company policies and procedures for laboratory operations.
  • Requested tasks are verified by and evaluated with the customer and lab lead.
  • The selected candidate shall report directly to the Mechanical Engineering Labs Supervisor.
  • Capable of processing and handling delicate model type components.
  • Capable of following engineering development and design processes.
 
Job Requirements

 
Required Skills / Qualifications:
 
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in maintaining, and cleaning mechanical equipment
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
 
  • Self-starter able to work with minimum supervision
  • Basic Computer skills, Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Possible use with, and working knowledge of composites and plastics, bonding agents, primers, paints, fillers, epoxies, composites and related processes
 Additional Information:
  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • Able to work flex schedule, overtime, weekends.
