Description

Acara Solutions is seeking a temporary Garnishments/Legal Documents Clerk in the Conshohocken, PA area.
 
 
The position is responsible for collecting, reviewing and analyzing payroll information to effectively administer involuntary deductions from pay, such as child support, state and federal tax levies and the like.  The position works collaboratively with all departments, including Payroll, Human Resources, Benefits and Finance, to ensure timely collection and payment of garnishments.
 
  • Printing documents from garnishment inbox, looking up the employee info, writing the info on the documents and distributing them to the correct Garnishment Specialist
  • General clerical duties such as opening mail,  alphabetizing, scanning, faxing or whatever is needed to assist the Specialists
  • Process court ordered wage garnishments, including child support, student loans, wage assignments, bankruptcy orders, state and federal tax levies
  • Collect and maintain electronic files for all withholding orders
 
Job Requirements

 
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • A minimum of a high school diploma
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in Administration and Document scanning 
 
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Any garnishment related or legal experience
  • Experience handling legal documents, filing and alphabetizing
  • Good reading comprehension  and strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Solid computer skills
  • Legible handwriting for note taking
Additional Information:
  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and drug screen.
