Acara Solutions is hiring a Machine Operator in Trevose, PA
 
Schedule: Monday-Friday/ 3:30pm-12:00am
Training Schedule: For the first couple of weeks, Prior to moving onto 2nd shift the employee will be required to complete training during 1st shift hours- Monday-Friday/7:00am-3:30pm
 
Responsibilities:
  • The operation of all equipment required to manufacture parts, including, but not limited to assorted hand tools, fixtures, drill presses, lathes and gun-drilling machine.
  • The ability to operate all equipment in a safe and conscientious manner.
  • Ability to operate multiple machines within a certain area.
  • Appropriate interpersonal skills to allow for professional, courteous and productive interaction with subordinates, co-workers and supervisors.
  • Ensure quality standards are met to customer expectations and internal guidelines and notify team leader or supervisor in the event of a non-conformance.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe workplace including but not limited to cleaning machines at end of each day, weekly cleaning and maintenance and adherence to 5S plan and schedule.
  • Other duties as assigned, including working in other departments when needed
Pay Rate: $17.60/hr. on 2nd shift
 
Job Requirements

 
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High school diploma/GED, technical school training
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in manufacturing
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs
  • Basic mathematical skills to maintain accurate counts and production records and a strong appreciation for procedure, processes and operational excellence
