Description

Our customer is seeking a Software Sales Manager to lead their Lincoln, Nebraska sales team. This position will lead a team to achieve performance excellence in new business development, account management and client expansion. As a leader, you will work with senior leadership to grow the business portfolio by establishing a clear sales strategy, identifying new business opportunities, and driving the sales team achieve established goals.
For more than 16 years, our customer has created best-of-class medical, dental and chiropractic software for macOS and iOS. The knowledge, experience and talent of our design and development team, support department, and training staff is unrivaled. Our customer and its alliance partners supply all of the associated products and services required by these offices including electronic claims, electronic statements, paper goods, Apple hardware, 3rd party hardware and software, consulting, marketing, web development, software and hardware installation and training just to mention a few. The ideal Sales Manager will build an engaged team who produces results in a fast-paced forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive sales and maximize sales opportunities for new and existing customers
  • Support the sales team in their career development and ensure they have the tools and resources to perform their job; Provide coaching and performance management when needed
  • Oversee and review the sales process with the Sales Team with their current and prospective clients
  • Champion the development of sales collateral including product demos; Present and deliver sales and product information to potential clients
  • Plan and monitor the day-to-day operation of the business to ensure smooth progress
  • Evaluate the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements
  • Develop sales goals and coordinate with the team to meet them on a consistent basis
  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators across sales team
  • Maintain accurate records and document all sales activity and discussions in Salesforce
  • Assess sales/customer statistics and prepare detailed reports on your findings
  • Hire and train new Salespersons
  • Manage the approved budget of the department
  • Stay informed on the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies
  • Manage customer requirements and work with technical/delivery team to ensure customer deliverables are being met
 
Job Requirements

 
Required Skills / Qualifications: 
  •  5+ years in a sales leadership role
  •  Experience in a SAAS B2B environment preferred
  •  Experience in medical, dental, chiropractic or optical industries is an asset
  •  Able to demonstrate track record of driving business growth through building a sales strategy, sales pipelines and driving teams to meet results
  • Outstanding communicator (written and verbal) with unmistakable interpersonal skills in managing people at customer, staff and executive level
  • Good understanding of management practices and techniques
  • Proven team management (dealing with staff of 10+ is an asset) 
  • Technical awareness and ability to understand new software and services
  •  University degree, College Diploma or equivalent experience required
  • Proven people management, including HR general management knowledge an asset
  •  Ability to travel throughout the United States, and Canada.
