Acara Solutions is seeking Warehouse Associates in the Indianapolis area!
Contract position
Job Summary
Responsible for the physical and administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and/ or distribution of materials, parts, supplies and/ or equipment.
Essential Job Functions
  • Unpacks and checks good received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records or received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items as necessary.
  • Pull, pack, weigh and ship orders as specified by picking tickets. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. 
  • Perform tasks using RF scanning gun.
  • Verify counts, weight and corresponding documentation on all incoming packages for accuracy. 
  • Examines, stocks and distributes materials to inventory and manufacturing lines. 
  • Post inventory items in Oracle against purchase orders and ensure your entities are accurate.
  • Perform transactions to move material in Oracle to proper stock locations and rotate material to ensure FIFO.
  • Put away daily shipments of Raw Material and Finished Goods. 
  • Perform daily cycle counts and research any discrepancies. 
  • Performs accurate inventory transactions in Oracle for all movements, transfers and inventory adjustments to maintain a high inventory record accuracy. 
  • May perform tasks associated with applying custom logos to materials per customer specifications. 
  • May send emails and other types of communications to various departments. 
Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:
High School Diploma
Minimum 6 months of general warehouse
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
Warehouse experience
Basic Computer proficiency to include working knowledge of MS Word and Excel desired. Technical competence includes the ability to learn new software systems. 
Demonstrates ownership and accountability; under close supervision is able to work on assignments that are routine in nature. 
Physical Requirements
Performing the duties of this job regularly involves: standing and walking for long periods of time, hearing/ listening, grasping, reaching, lifting and carrying up to 50lbs., bending/ stooping, kneeling/ crawling, climbing, balancing, pushing/ pulling, vision requirements include close vision requirements include close vision and the ability to adjust focus and color code.
