Acara Solutions is hiring a Calibration Technician on 1st shift  in Hatfield, PA.
Schedule: 1st Shift/7:00am-3:00pm/Monday-Friday
Job Duties:
  • Test and calibrate equipment
  • Troubleshooting of basic calibration problems.
  • Determine parameters of testing media, temperature, pressure, liquid or gas, and test fixtures used
  • Operate computer assisted calibration equipment, manual equipment and Bell Provers
  • Collect data for calibration sheets for manual calibration equipment.
  • Interface with Engineering on evaluations of application or product problems.
  • Work with customers, agents, or inspectors who want to simulate flow conditions.
  • Maintain regular attendance and is able to get along in a team environment
  • Ability to follow all safety procedures.
  • Support company continuous improvement initiatives
Pay Range: $14.00-$17.50/hr. (depending on experience)
Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 1 year of testing and calibration experience
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Good computer skills with Word/Excel experience
  • Familiarity with various hand tools and their application
  • Strong basic Math skills

The physical demands of kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, lifting (no more than approximately 20 lbs.), fingering, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
