Acara is seeking a Facilities Program Manager for our client on a 9+ month contract opportunity. This position will be based out of their Wilsonville, OR office. However the candidate and live and work remotely anywhere in the US.

The Project Manager coordinates office moves, closures, and renovation projects from design through construction and close out; develops project scope, project budgets, and program statements; coordinates the activities of Facilities, AV, IT, Real Estate and other support group internal or external.  Communicates and provides reports to senior manager and project stakeholders, promulgates progress, and resolves issues as they arise; facilitates the value engineering exercises and ensures the final product meets the requirements of the stakeholders.

Job Duties:
  • Assist with the development project scope, budget and time line
  • Participate in the project design process
  • Assist with design constructability reviews
  • Coordinate the activities of the construction teams
  • Coordinate the activities of internal teams
  • Conduct scheduled meetings to review project status, develop punch lists, and execute the project
  • Provide oversight for the execution of project deliverables
  • Track budget and schedule and develop reports as directed
  • Assist in design/construction conflict resolutions
  • Brief stakeholders and project team on project processes and procedures
  • Interact to with project team members to accomplish established goals
  • Learn and understand the project management process
Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years Program Manager experience

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Preferred Facilities specific PM experience, but open to other industries
  • Experience with remote meeting applications
  • Experience managing from start to finish larger / complex projects 
  • Proficient with use of Microsoft applications (Office, Teams, Outlook, etc.)
  • Strong communicator 
  • Project management and task organizer
  • Strong problem solver and critical thinker
