Acara solutions is looking for Manufacturing Technician for our Client located in San Diego, CA
  • Support the production team answering questions, providing guidance, and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and optical assemblies
  • Build, test, and certify mechanical, electrical, and optical subassemblies through full systems
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and repair customer returned material
  • Perform quality assessments of in-process assemblies through complete systems as well as provide review of packing processed for final shipment
  • Contribute to work instructions and assembly procedures
  • Collaborate with engineering on production problem solving and new product introduction activities
Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Associate degree 
  • Minimum 5 years" years of manufacturing Technician ideally with optics and electro-optics, at the technician level
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Technical training
  • Knowledge or ESD, soldering, and crimping best practices
  • Experience with advanced electronic test equipment
  • Experience with hand and machine tools and equipment
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions, assembly documents, and schematics in their entirety
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
