Description

Acara Solutions is recruiting for a direct hire Director of Project Development for a non-profit in Buffalo, NY.

The compensation for this position is $75,000K but negotiable based on experience.
 
Responsibilities:
1) Prepare work scopes and solicitations for consultants, contractors and other third-party work efforts
2) Co-ordinate infrastructure projects with the City of Buffalo and other stakeholders
3) Overall Budgeting, funding and coordination
4) Develop of marketing tools and initiatives
5) Manage various grant agreements including grant disbursements, grant draws and compliance and grant regulations
6) Assist businesses & developers in identifying financing, grants and incentives
7) Meet with real estate developers, businesses and other stakeholders to research and inform development activities
9) Maintain a working knowledge of economic development incentives offered by economic development organizations in the Buffalo region
10) Other duties as assigned 
 
Job Requirements

 
Required Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor"s Degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, Engineering or related field required
Minimum of 3 years" experience in Project Management required
Experience in Real Estate Development (including property due diligence & development), Urban Planning and/or Economic Development (including project management & financial incentives)
 
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, Engineering or related field preferred
