Acara Solutions is looking for a Quality Inspector for our client located in Rockledge, Florida
 
Summary of Position:   
Inspects, audits, and reports on materials, processes and products using variable or attribute measuring instruments and techniques to ensure conformance with the company"s quality standards.  Maintains associated records.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Inspects, audits, and reports on materials, processes and products using variable or attribute measuring instruments and techniques to determine compliance with order specifications, company's quality control system and for conformity to specified standards.
  • Reviews and verifies documentation associated with materials, processes and products to determine compliance with order specifications, company's quality control system and for conformity to specified standards.
  • Submits samples of product to applicable laboratory for testing as indicated by department procedures.
  • Maintains current and archived inspection/audit records and documents.
  • Collects and summarizes quality data.
  • Provides information to the Quality Assurance Manager of approval or rejection of product.
  • Reports conditions requiring immediate attention.
  • Documents rejection and monitors disposition of product via the NonConforming Report (NCR) system.
  • Use of basic inspection tools such as calipers and micrometers.
 
Job Requirements

 
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of quality inspection related job experience that includes basic understanding of dimensional inspection principles and use of basic inspection tools (i.e.: calipers, micrometers).
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Working towards an AS degree/certificate/vocational education or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Basic computer skills, including basic use of MS Office products (Word/Excel). 
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.    
  • Ability to be highly organized, detail oriented and able to respond to change quickly. 
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
