Acara Solutions is looking for temporary Clinical Center Associates (CCA) for a premier medical organization in Buffalo, NY!

Schedule: Monday-Friday 9:00AM-5:00PM

  1. Answer routine inquiries
  2. Schedule patient appointments and ancillary testing
  3. Maintain and coordinate clinic schedules and manage co-pay collection process
  4. Enter data into EMR
  5. Assist patients and visitors, greet patients, and verify insurance information. 
  6. Handle phone calls
  7. Transcribe physician orders
  8. Order supplies
  9. Participate in team or group work activities in the clinic
  10. Distribute mail from mail room  
Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Medical Office Assistant Associate"s degree, or an Associate"s degree and the equivalent of one year of full-time secretarial experience in a clinical setting
  • Minimum 2 years proficiency using medical terminology
  • Minimum 2 years of full-time experience with scheduling systems, including OR and Electronic Medical Records systems
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Good customer service skills
  • Ability to perform duties in a professional and friendly demeanor
