Aleron has an exciting direct-hire opportunity for a Risk and Quality Administrator at out Williamsville, NY office! This is a full time opening that comes with great benefits!

The Risk and Quality Administrator acts as the point of contact for branch staff, and the TPA for reporting, managing and administrative duties associated with the company"s workers compensations activities and initiatives.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Process employee injury incident reports by verifying submitted information
  • Fully investigate or gather information in order to determine compensability of submitted workers" compensation claims
  • Work with branch offices to obtain completed customer accident investigation reports and identify the root/cause of the incident
  • Pursue opportunities with customers to implement safety improvements for preventable injuries
  • Submit injury report forms to insurance company and claims adjuster
  • Work with claims adjusters in determining compensability and appropriate plans of action to mitigate workers" compensation claims
  • Communicate regularly with branch office personnel to follow up on medical treatment and work status of workers" compensation claimants
 
  • Check on status of all open claims to verify that the agreed action plans are being followed
  • Track employment status of workers" compensation claimants with branch offices
  • Maintain documents that are used for managing workers" compensation claims
  • Run regular detailed workers" compensation claims reports for executive staff by branch office location
  • Process claims payments to insurer and TPA by verifying payment amounts and allocating to applicable business unit
  • Actively participate in insurer and TPA open claim reviews to assist in developing appropriate claim resolution strategies
  • Send out workers compensation insurance posting notices to all branch offices on an annual basis
  • Manage the Safety on The Web training program with branch offices and resolve any potential or existing problems
  • Coordinate treatment of care with occupational medical facilities in various states to provide direct care for our injured workers
  • Post useful risk management information to the Risk Management Connections community as needed for the benefit of branch offices as it relates to safety and workers" compensation practices and procedures
  • Assist with identifying applicable WC classification codes and gathering insurance renewal information
 
Other Duties:
  • Active Connections and Sametime Steering Committee member
  • Assist Risk Manager with processing final premium audits
  • Assist Risk Manager in any administrative functions as needed
  • Comply and adhere to all ISO policies and procedures
  • Submit periodic reports to management as requested
  • Responsible for various other administrative duties as directed by Company
  • Support the quality department as needed
 
Job Requirements

 
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Associates degree or 2+ years of relevant risk experience
  • 1 year of experience in MS Word and Excel

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication abilities
