Description

Acara Solutions is looking for a Materials Handler 1 for our Client located in Alpharetta, GA.
  • Material Technicians play a key role in receiving, storing, documenting, and delivering materials within the organization.
  • They fulfill orders for delivery to the factory assembly areas or for direct shipment to customers.
  • Additionally, Material Technicians conduct cycle count activities to maintain the count and absolute value accuracy of the inventories maintained within the organization.
  • Operate material handling equipment, carousel and crane
  • Prepare material to be stocked
  • Identify material to be picked and count the quantity
  • Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, or containers, by hand or using trucks or other equipment
  • Maintain material storage areas to ensure that inventory is protected
  • Process various material movement transactions with an RF device or computer
Pay and Benefits:                                                                                                    
  • The salary for this position is $ 18.00 per hour (Max Pay rate).
 
Job Requirements

 
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years" experience as Materials Handler

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Basic math comprehension
  • Cognitive decision-making skills
  • Forklift operations
  • SAP
Additional Information:
  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • Manual dexterity with arms, legs, hands, and feet
  • Ability to lift 35 lbs. with repeated lifting throughout the workday
