Acara Solutions is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer for our Client located in Ocala, FL.
  • Designs are manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining, and material handling. 
  • Incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan. 
  • Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.
  • Develops manufacturing processes that apply to statistical process control and may develop those techniques. 
  • Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques. 
  • Ensures processes and procedures comply with regulations.
  • Trains technicians on the assembly process.
  • Investigates root cause and corrective action for defective hardware.
  • Creates rework instructions for hardware.
Pay and Benefits:
The salary for this position is $43.00 per hour (Max Pay rate).
Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Development of Work Manufacturing Instructions for C&H build in SAP
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Cable & Harness manufacturing, IPC-620, J-STD-001, and IPC-A-610 
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Provide direction and training to hourly production workers
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Experienced with SAP, experienced with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel). 
  • Knowledge of electro-mechanical assembly, industrial processes, technical writing, and teaming. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Understanding of Lean manufacturing concepts and techniques, Pro-E, or equivalent CAD software, tool design, electronic, packaging design, and MRS concepts. 
  • Leadership experience. 
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
