Acara Solutions is seeking an Operation Servicing Specialist in Melbourne, FL for one of our clients in the Banking/Mortgage industry!

Pay rate: $14.50/hour
Purpose:
Completes all requests for account information from members and staff, including research requests and verification of deposits. Monitors daily reports, such as Safe Deposit Box and CD rate report, for discrepancies. Processes dormant account paperwork, address changes, and returned mail.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
* Researches member requests for account information, including, but not limited to, check copies, statements and posting errors. Communicates to the Clients' employee requesting the information, and on occasion to the member for further clarification. Performs adjustments on accounts when posting errors have occurred, and forwards check information to the proper personnel for adjustments to Corporate America.
* Examines requests from subpoenas for account statements and check copies, and provides all his information to the requesting counsel in the required timeframe.
* Completes member address changes in accordance with established standard procedures.
* Researches and completes Verification of Deposit (VOD) requests from members and outside companies. Periodically reviews automated VOD process through the social security administration to ensure proper functionality.
* Researches and completes quality control requests from outside companies.
* . Corrects CD errors and communicates with the Clients' personnel and member on needed revisions to documentation. Performs maintenance on CDs per member instructions received through mail.
* Reviews daily report of Safe Deposit Boxes for accounts that are unpaid for more than the allotted time for payment. Sends corresponding letters and informs branches of drill notices when necessary.
* Processes Returned Mail in accordance with current procedures. Updates addresses as necessary in the system. Continually looks at information received through returned mail to provide suggestions for improvement.
* Answers phone calls and WebApp requests coming in to Operation Services queues and responds accordingly to requests.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
* Assists in the completion of the duties of other Operations department employees.
* Completes other duties as assigned.
 
Job Requirements

 
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • A minimum of one year similar or related experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
