Acara Solutions is hiring a remote Orthodontics Assistant/Designer to work with our customer in downtown, Buffalo, NY
This is a temp to direct hire, career opportunity for candidates with the ability to be action-oriented, adaptable and able to deploy the highest level of service while assisting customers with expediting orders and correcting post-sales problems. Utilizing telephone, email, Live Chat and a variety of software tools to navigate customer accounts, your role is to listen, understand, research and review policies in order to communicate effective solutions to medical providers, technicians and dealers of their medical technology. 
Hours: M-F 8am-4:30pm
Pay: $20-23/hr+ DOE
Job description:
  • Design orthodontic prescriptions in EasyRx software.
  • Review models of the patient's dentition to ensure no distortion or missing data.
  • Communicate with Dental offices using HIPAA compliant messaging portal inside EasyRx to convey questions about prescription orders.
  • Review message responses from Dental offices regarding questions previously sent.
  • Schedule shipping target dates after considering production capacity and the Dental office's need date. 
  • Evaluate correct billing for orders.
  • Communicate with your team verbally and digitally using the phone, Microsoft Teams, and email.
 
Job Requirements

 
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  1. Minimum HS diploma or GED
  2. Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
  3. Minimum 2 years of experience in orthodontic design
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  1. College degree
  2. Excellent written and verbal skills and display high emotional intelligence.
  3. Ability to maintain a calm and positive attitude when dealing with difficult customers or complaints
  4. Effective problem solving and organizational skills including decision making, time management, and resolving customer inquiries in a timely and friendly manner
