Acara Solutions is seeking Final Quality Inspectors for a National Leading supplier of plastic products and a leading Medical Device manufacturer in Orchard Park, NY. Our client has been Family owned over 70+ years and produces creative solutions for industries including: Aerospace, machining shops, semiconductor sector, equipment manufacturers, and more. 

Job Description:
Our Final Quality Inspectors are responsible for ensuring that materials (supplied or manufactured) and processes conform to their stated requirements through electrical, dimensional, and visual inspections. Performs practical assignments of a technical substance and records results with a high degree of accuracy.

Primary Functions
  • Functional testing:  functionally test procured and manufactured material using established test systems and procedures. Perform testing at the standard rate if it is established for that testing activity or work center.
  • Documentation review and record keeping:  Correctly assess pass / fail conditions, accurately document results and activity confirmations.  Review and adhere to all documentation standards.
  • Inspection: Conduct basic in-process and final inspection to determine if visual, labeling, dimensional, and other specifications of the material are met.

Shift: M-F. 7-3:30pm, some flexibility. Uncapped OT available. Sneakers and casual attire. $15.50-$17/hr. DOE.

Job Requirements

 
Required Skills / Qualifications:
1) High School Diploma or proof of GED
2) 6x months of basic electrical and mechanical measuring processes
3) 6x months of reading and interpreting technical drawing, blueprints, and schematics.
4) 6x months of MS Office.
5) 6x months of operating common test equipment (ie, calipers, micrometers, indicators, digital multi-meters, etc.
