Description

Acara Solutions is looking for an Laboratory Technician for our Client located in Elkhart, IN

  • Perform purification and conjugation of various proteins used in components of in-vitro diagnostic assays in a regulated environment.
  • This is an entry level position in a Manufacturing group that is responsible for producing reagents for in-vitro diagnostic assays. 
  • Manufacture bio-conjugates by performing size exclusion chromatography. 
  • Accurately and neatly record information while following established written protocols. 
  • Work as a member of a team to perform a variety of biochemical techniques used to purify and conjugate proteins. 
  • The successful candidate may assist with validation of process improvements or new product development. 

Pay and Benefits:

The Salary for this position is $ 27.50 per hour (Max Pay rate
 
Job Requirements

 
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry. 
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as Laboratory Technician
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Recent college graduates with limited laboratory experience will be considered. 
  • Applicants with industrial experience and knowledge of GMP/ISO. 
  • Experience in protein purification and conjugation techniques 
  • The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic and professional demeanor.
  • The ideal candidate will be proficient in time management, possess well developed interpersonal skills, demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, and exhibit attention to detail.
