Acara Solutions is seeking an Electronic Assembler for a manufacturing company in the Rochester, NY area!

Pay rate: $16-19/hour
Job type: Contract to Direct Hire
Schedule: Full time, Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4pm

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Build Cables and other Electronic assemblies while ensuring compliance with IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards. 
  • Identify, document, and work with the Electronics Manufacturing Engineer to eliminate quality issues and drawing errors discovered.
  • Familiarity with and the ability to read and interpret cable drawings, interconnects, and specification drawings.
  • Demonstrated ability to use soldering iron while adhering to IPC-J-STD-001 in the production of wiring assemblies.
  • Ability to use basic electronic test equipment including digital multi-meters, buzz lights, and power supplies.
Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • 1-4 years of work experience in the electronic assembly field
  • Ability to perform within established time constraints and to the highest level of quality
  • A good working knowledge of assembly equipment and tools, such as crimpers, wire cutters, solder equipment, crimping dies, wire strippers and common hand tools
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Previous qualification in IPC-J-STD-001 and/or IPC/WHMA-A-620 is desired, but not required.
