Description

Acara Solutions is looking for an Engineering Technician for our Client located in Walpole, MA

  • Engineering Technician - Medical Diagnostic Instrumentation Service Technician
  • This position supports Client immunoassay analyzers located at the Client Healthineers Walpole, MA facility. 
  • Installation of new analyzers and performing installation qualification activities
  • Troubleshoot system performance issues and make effective repairs
  • Complete preventative maintenance activities as required
  • Complete documentation requirements for maintenance and repair activities

Pay and Benefits:

  • The Salary for this position is $ 29.58 per hour (Max Pay rate).
 
Job Requirements

 
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in supporting medical diagnostic instrumentation
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working in a laboratory setting
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Associate degree 
  • Technical training in Electronic Technology or Electro/Mechanical Engineering 
  • Experience supporting Siemens analyzers 
  • Understanding of fluidic systems and electronic controls
  • Must be capable of following written instructions and reading schematics
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Scheduled on call support
