Acara Solutions is looking for an Analyst - IT Infrastructure Windows Administrator for our Client located in San Antonio, TX.

  • The role for the Analyst IT Infrastructure is a subject matter expert with Microsoft Windows Administration
  • Microsoft Active Directory, VMware Virtualization, and Cloud native solutions from a design/usage perspective, and created a knowledge hub to convey best practices, common issues, and lessons learned.

  • The salary for this position is $ 49.78 per hour (Max Pay rate)
Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Business Computer Systems or Management Information Systems
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in managing and maintaining an Active Directory Infrastructure, including, design and implementation of group policy, domain consolidation for large scale organizations
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in managing VMware in Hyper Converged and Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure; installing ESX server, configuring vCenter server with all clustering features and provisioning virtual machines using templates and realize automation
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience with multiple storage technologies including SAN/NAS, interfaces, data replication and backup and recovery solutions
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in creating and modifying scripts to configure and automate common tasks with exclaim powerline and any of the common scripting languages (PowerShell/ BASH/Perl/Python/)
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in SAN and FC networks Provide support in defining and developing product architecture through the provision of designs and evaluation of storage products to meet business needs
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in setting up and maintaining in production VMware DRS, HA, storage/network multipath Needed understanding of TCP/IP communications

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience as a Systems Administrator in Microsoft Windows and VMware Virtualization environment
  • Experience in VMware Cloud Foundation and NSX micro-segmentation design and implementation
  • Needed expert knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server software, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange and/or other industry standard server platform services
  • Understanding of change control procedures, security patch management, high availability, business continuity, and disaster recovery concepts
  • Exceptionally Needed troubleshooting and problems solving skills with persistence in driving solutions through to completion
  • Needed good understanding of LAN topology, Networking Devices, firewalls and network protocols and services, including TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP, etc.
  • Good understanding of Linux and Unix environment
  • Exceptionally Needed analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Extensive knowledge of Information technology infrastructure in a field supporting the migration of infrastructures from physical to virtual environments
  • Applied Computer skills to include understanding of networking, hardware, system administration, active directory, operating systems, and desktop applications
  • Knowledge of the principles of data communications and telecommunications
  • Knowledge of computer operating systems, storage virtualization, compute virtualization, and hypervisors
  • Collaborate in assessing current and expected Windows infrastructure needs configuration, maintenance, optimization, and documentation of Windows infrastructure
  • Needed communication and technical skills, prior experience of leading teams and working on a highly process driven environment
  • Willingness and ability to learn emerging technologies to continually expand skillset Relative experience in supporting utility construction & maintenance Knowledge about DevOps Tools supporting Continuous Delivery Ansible, Git, Jenkins, and Bugzilla
  • Initiative Working with Ambiguity Driving for Results Evaluation
