Acara Solutions is currently looking for an experienced Electronic Repair/Rework Technician in Rochester, NY!

Pay: $20-30/hr+ DOE
Immediate start!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Work in conjunction with Process Engineering to optimize processes to enhance throughput where possible.
  • Create operating procedures for equipment and processes.
  • Ensure required materials and documentation is available prior to start of build.
  • Maintain quality level on all product builds, must have the ability to stay focused during large qty builds. 
  • Inspect/Identify non-conforming product and perform Rework as needed to ensure product/s meet customer and industry specifications
  • Support area 5S, metrics, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Attend and participate in regularly scheduled team meetings to review 5S, metrics, and KPIs focused on continuous improvement  
  • Support Continuous Improvement initiatives (e.g., 5S, continuous flow, kanban, visual controls)
  • Perform related duties as assigned by manager or process coordinator
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures 
  • Supports OT requirements as needed
  • Stop production when required if product(s) do not meet standard
Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:
  1. Minimum HS diploma
  2. Minimum 4 years of electronics manufacturing experience
  3. Minimum 4 years of through-hold soldering experience
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  1. IPC 7711/21 certification or prior certtification
  2. IPC 610 certification
  3. J-STD-001 certification
