Description

Acara Solutions is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer for our Client located in Orlando, FL

  • Client is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to develop embedded real-time software.  
  • Selected candidate will integrate algorithms into C++ applications.  
  • This candidate is expected to be an expert in their field with the ability to provide leadership and mentoring to the development team. 

Pay and Benefits:

  • The Salary for this position is $ 108.00 per hour (Max Pay rate).
 
Job Requirements

 
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Software Engineering or Computer Science 
  • Minimum of 11 years' experience in hardware to software integration, Intel multi-core processors, multi-threaded applications, Linux, Graphical interfaces, and full software life-cycle development.
  • Minimum of 11 years' experience in following
  1. Agile development 
  2. C++ 11 or greater 
  3. Embedded real-time C++ software development on embedded real-time operating system (RTOS) 
  4. Graphical User Interface (GUI) development 
  5. Linux 
  6. Microsoft Foundation Class (MFC) 
  7. Microsoft Visual Studio C++ 
  8. PC Application Development
  9. Software configuration management / version control 
  10. Software issue tracking 
  11. Windows
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Algorithm Implementation 
  • Design patterns Full software life-cycle development 
  • GitLab - source code versioning with cloud deployment 
  • Hardware/Software integration Jira - issue tracking and agile project management Large, complex code base modification and development 
  • Multi-core / multi-processor / multi-threaded development 
  • QT - GUI development software
  • Candidate is expected to be proficient in C/C++ IEEE 11 or later. 
  • It is imperative that the candidate meet the mandatory requirements and it would be beneficial if the supplier would communicate those requirements to the candidate.
