Acara has partnered with Edwards Vacuum in Hillsboro to find an Assembly Administrator to join the team. The Assembly Administrator supports the assembly team with SAP transactions, build scheduling through collaboration with Planning & Procurement teams, and preparation of build packet work orders & drawings associated with frame and kit assembly.  The Assembly Administer is responsible for supporting the Assembly team with building documentation & records, preparing assembly SAP work orders, SOPs, printing product identification labels, preparing shipping documentation, printing shipping labels, training records, and tracking & reporting of assembly build status.


Main Responsibilities:

Daily interaction with Planning, Procurement, Engineering, Warehouse and other departments as needed to help drive collaboration of the assembly build schedule and to ensure all build assembly documentation is prepared and completed.

May support the training of team members and collaborates to drive improvement and efficiency.

May be asked to keep training matrix and certification records up to date.

May support manufacturing engineers with continuous improvement activities.

Maintains a good working relationship with department colleagues and the supporting departments.

Maintains a safe and clean work area.

Executes good problem solving and critical thinking skills to identify root cause errors.

Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance; works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.

Respectfully takes direction from Cell Leader and Team Lead; other duties as assigned.


Skills / Knowledge / Experience:

Strong computer skills specifically using Microsoft office applications.

Experience with SAP, Oracle, or other ERP software.

Experience with Database and Hierarchy data structure

Ability to multitask with high level of attention to detail.

Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings and diagrams.

Must be analytical problem solver with strong observational and communication skills.

Education Requirement: 

High School Diploma/GED

Desired Previous Experience:

2-year experience in manufacturing, assembly, production or operations environment.

Electromechanical experience is preferred.
