SDI is looking for an SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM) Consultant

for a Direct position for our client located in Remote.

  • PaPM is a powerful new solution - and rebranding of an older PCM tool that facilitates cost and overhead allocations in S/4HANA and SAC, or any other FP&A solution.

  • The role will involve deployment of modern SAP Analytics/Reporting offerings, requiring both functional and technical expertise to develop SAP PaPM solutions and best address our customers' needs.
  • In this role, the SAP PaPM Senior Consultant will work directly with customers for hands-on delivery, as well as strategic insights on how to run programs/projects efficiently from blueprint to go-live.
  • This position requires the ability to work and communicate as part of a high-performance consulting team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Intelligently guide customers through their financial processes and best practices related to account reconciliations and mass journal posting templates
  • Lead the Business Process and Solution Architecture design sessions; Create functional specifications for development requirements
  • Lead and manage team(s) where relevant; can understand the end-goals and delegate tasks to successfully meet deliverables on time & within scope
  • Perform initial setup, prototype, configuration, and testing to support the design sessions and to fulfil the customer's business requirements
  • Design and document the required configurations for the SAP PaPM solution(s) per the blueprint, including documenting test results, and support go-live efforts
  • Recommend best practices for configuring SAP PaPM considering the overall architecture to achieve integration, high performance, and stability
  • Work closely with end users to design the proper SAP PaPM solution(s) to support defined business processes and business requirements
  • Actively participate in training and knowledge transfer sessions to enable end users to understand SAP PaPM
  • Provide support for applicants to include problem identification, reporting, tracking analysis and resolution
  • Provide continuous feedback on project status and offer constructive options to ensure project continues to meet original expectations
  • Utilize technical and industry knowledge to identify complex client issues and build long-term business relationships with key executives through engagement delivery, as well as networking in professional organizations

  • Contribute thought leadership to the development and growth of our brand and intellectual capital by, among others: Publishing articles, white papers, or speaking at select domestic or global SAP conferences

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or Business or MIS or Computer Science
  • Minimum of 6 years' experience in SAP consulting, in SAP BPC, SAP CO-PA, SAP SAC, SAP BW, SAP HANA or SAP PCM
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Consulting firm
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in solid business process knowledge and business process blue printing experience
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in selling finance transformation programs, including strategic alignment with executives, solution development, and closing business.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree
  • In depth understanding of key SAP PAPM processes and functionality; hands on implementation experience in SAP PaPM
  • Experience in SAP full life cycle implementation in areas of BPC, Analytics Cloud, BW, CO-PA or S/4HANA
  • Financial Services industry experience
  • Understanding of Cost and Revenue allocation process design and implementation
  • SAP ABAP, or HANA SQL or Fiori/UI5 development experience could be a great advantage
  • Ability to translate functional into technical specifications
  • Experience in defining and developing SAP solutions
  • Knowledge about SAP architecture, processes, and data structures
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP and latest SAP Financial tools a must
  • Knowledge of upcoming changes in SAP Finance and Analytics landscapes, as well as an eagerness to learn, prototype, and grow expertise in the latest relevant financial & analytics technologies
  • Thirst for knowledge and eagerness to learn and grow skills in new areas
