Acara Solutions is looking for an Engineering Technician for our client located in Louisville, KY.

  • May perform some or all the below duties depending on area of assignment
  • Create and maintain project submittal log
  • Ensure Bill of Material accuracy
  • Create part number requests
  • Assists with tag generation
  • Performs continuity, tag check, and breakdown testing
  • Modify design drawings using CADD or Drafting Standards
  • Calls vendors for material or ordering information
  • Assists with parts research need for new designs
  • Interface with mechanical engineering department to facilitate new assembly needs


Pay and Benefits:                                                                                                   

The salary for this position is $23.00 per hour (Max Pay rate).

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • At least a High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years' Experience with CADD (AutoCAD/MicroStation) and reading electrical schematics or blueprints.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Associate degree
  • Experience in factory or field environment using electrical tools, measurements and wiring circuits.
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of a technical or specialty area, and of operations, methods, and practices.
