Description

Acara Solutions is looking for an Electronics Design Engineer for our client located in Indianapolis, IN.

  • The Electronics Design Engineer will be responsible for Electronics hardware circuit design and development to analogy design, digital design, mixed signal design (ADCs/DACs), and power supply design for Electronic Engine Control and monitoring System.
  • You may be involved at any stage of a project including the initial brief for a concept, the design and development stage, testing of prototypes and the final manufacture and implementation of a new product or system.
  • You'll usually work in project teams with colleagues in other branches of engineering

  • Create schematic and PCB layout guidelines
  • Electronics measurement equipment & design assurance testing
  • Troubleshooting electronics to find root cause and solutions to problems
  • Circuit simulation & related modelling tools
  • Tolerance and stress analysis
  • Compile functional description and design assurance testing results into a report sufficient for certifying authorities

 

Pay and Benefits:                                                                                                   

The salary for this position is $65.00 per hour (Max Pay rate).

 
Job Requirements

 
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Chemistry or Computer Science or Information Technology or Mathematics or Physics
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in electronics design
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Engineering or Chemistry or Computer Science or Information Technology or Mathematics or Physics
  • JD/PhD
