Description

Acara Solutions is looking for a Performance Measurement Analyst for our Client located in Boston, MA.

  • The Fund Reporting Expert performs analytical, control and client servicing activities to ensure accurate and timely performance measurement reporting and or attribution reporting for clients according to established standards.
  • The Individual takes ownership of tasks and works independently, yet receives supervision when needed by the Senior Analyst and Manager, particularly with regards to instructions on new assignments and client developments.
  • Calculate and report performance and attribution results for clients.
  • Provide data to database companies and clients including portfolio holdings and information to calculate accurate performance and statistics.
  • Analyze reporting output and identify possible issues.
  • Field and respond to client inquiries and escalate issues.
  • Exhibit a sound understanding of client products and services.
  • Respond to internal and external audit requests promptly and accurately.
  • Assist in the coordination of new business implementations and conversions.

Pay and Benefits:                                                                                                   

  • The salary for this position is $ 35.00 per hour (Max Pay rate).
 
Job Requirements

 
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS).
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in mutual fund industry.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in reports preparing or performance measurement focused position.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Technical proficiency, Eagle Star Accounting, SS&C Sylvan, and Bloomberg would be an asset.
  • Understanding Index and Benchmark usage and data would be an asset.
  • Experience in Fund accounting would be an asset.
  • Very good English skills (B2 level).
  • Ability to plan and prioritize assignments through multi-tasking while dealing with competing deadlines.
  • Good knowledge of Excel.
