Acara Solutions is working with a client, a global energy manufacturer, and seeking an experienced partner for an Electronic Equipment Technician job opening. It's a great time to join this leading organization!

Compensation: Market-strong competitive hourly wages

Job location: Georgetown, MA

Overtime available: Yes, per management's instructions

Shift availability: 1st Shift  / 40-hour work week

Work status: Temp to Hire / Contractor

Job Summary: 


Performs testing and troubleshooting of electronic equipment and meet production schedules & performance standards. Receives instructions re: daily work and new assignments. 

Work Responsibilities:

  • Perform various production assembly operations on electronic components and sub-assemblies
  • Set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies
  • Test procedures, drawings, schematics and verbal/written instructions to test and troubleshoot units
  • Ability to recognize nonconformities
  • Maintain fixturing, performs calibration, preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance
  • Follow all safety requirements and the value of Quality re: products and to meet customers' expectations
  • Technical interface and document test results accurately
 
Job Requirements

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • HS diploma or GED
  • 3 years experience in the electronic testing  and/or repair field
  • Ability to perform basic reading, writing, and math functions
  • Able to work in a noisy and fast paced manufacturing environment
     

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • AS Degree in Engineering field
  • 5 years of Technician work experience
