Acara Solutions has an IMMEDIATE direct hire Assembly/Testing Technician opening in Pomptom Plains, NJ.

Job Description-
The assembly/testing technician is responsible for assembling and testing small medical related products. Assembly consists of putting pieces together by hand using a variety of hand tools, so manual dexterity is important. Strong hand-eye coordination are also helpful and the ability to read assembly drawings and follow work instruction is key to this position.
  • Mechanical Assembly of medical devices.
  • Complete testing protocols of manufactured product and document results.
  • Perform diagnostic tests on the assembled product and take corrective action as needed.
  • Perform diagnostic tests on the assembled product and take corrective action as needed.
  • Mechanical Assembly of sheet metal and injection molded plastic parts according to technical documents and/or blueprints.
  • Kit parts for assembly 
  • Install pre-assembled wiring harnesses. 
  • Repair defective and/or damaged products. 
  • Follow all workplace protocols. 
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Pay: $18-$20/hr. DOE. 1st shift. Great Benefits!

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • At least 2x years recent Microsoft Excel & Outlook with video conferencing.
  • Must have at least one year of recent small device assembly with basic blueprint knowledge.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly (medical device is a plus). 
  • Strong organizational skills
