The Investor Network Manager's primary responsibilities include managing all activities related to the Investor Network financing program, a digitally enabled investment program including companies raising capital and investors seeking to fund those companies. The Manager researches, organizes, plans, delivers, monitors, and refines the Investor Network working with the internal team. Secondary responsibilities include supporting other organizational functions related to finance, fundraising, grants administration, outreach and marketing, partner and vendor engagement and management, and related projects. 

Major Functions:
  • Assist President and CEO and Fund Manager in strategic planning, modeling, and development of the Investor Network.
  • Management of: 
    1. Development and administration of the Investor Network, including operational processes, lead generation, due diligence, portfolio management, and other related duties for the Investor Network.
    2. Market research and financial analysis for the Investor Network.
    3. Investor relations, including recruitment to build the membership.
    4. Documentation related to Investor Network.
    5. Investor Network digital tools, including the Venture 360 (V360) platform.
    6. Development, refinement, and reporting related to the Investor Network.
  • Coordination of financial transactions, including documentation, and follow-up reporting with the Investment Associate.
  • Coordinate with internal personnel to support organizational needs in finance, accounting, grants administration, IT and CRM systems, fundraising, marketing, Entrepreneur-in-Residence and related programming, and other areas.
  • Interface with securities counsel regularly to address duties.
  • Engage, coordinate, and train client companies and Launch NY Entrepreneurs-in-Residence, personnel, and contractors regarding financial products and client financing needs to provide training, consultation, financial transaction management, and related activities.
  • Coordinate with partner organizations and ecosystem activities and events.
  • Develop and manage partner and vendor relationships with direction of reporting manager.
  • Provide reporting on all functions to President and CEO and Fund Manager and as assigned, to the Board of Directors.
  • Manage personnel as assigned by President and CEO and Fund Manager.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by President and CEO and Fund Manager.
Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Three years' experience in relevant roles in financial and/or related program operations. 
  • Three years' experience demonstrating project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Two years' experience in developing and presenting financial models and proposals. 

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Experience working with financial programs for businesses, especially involving equity financing for startup and early stage companies.
  • Experience in supporting administration of entrepreneurship and/or business assistance programs.
  • Experience implementing and using CRM and financial program and/or transaction software.
  • Proficiency with accounting and other financial program software.
