Acara is hiring for Millwrights in Hudson, NH who are well-versed in following top level assembly books to build sub-assemblies and then continuing to turn sub-assemblies and parts into completed vacuum furnaces. This position will be integral in the support setting up, dismantling, maintaining, and repairing intricate industrial machines. Other duties are as follows:

  • Sorting, consolidating, and organizing various parts to build high tech vacuum furnaces. 
  • Managing the layout and placement of equipment and machinery in factory settings to ensure minimum downtime.
  • Identifying and repairing problematic parts of a machine by running tests, making temporary repairs, or installing new parts.
  • Overseeing preventive maintenance by identifying and correcting potential issues, removing worn out pieces and lubricating mechanical parts.
Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Highschool Diploma or GED required
  • Mechanical aptitude in dealing with wrenches, hammers, forklifts, and other similar tools (must have a forklift certification).
  • Proficient in troubleshooting techniques to solve machine issues.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Mechanical aptitude in dealing with wrenches, hammers, forklifts, and other similar tools (must have a forklift certification).
  • Must be competent with hand tools, drilling, tapping, and leveling equipment, aligning equipment plumb and square as it is built.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical technical skills to effectively read documents such as specifications, machine manuals, and blueprints.
  • Good at adhering to strict safety guidelines and cognizant of safety risks. Must work in full compliance with the approved safety regulations.
  • Must have a strong attention to detail.
