Acara solutions is looking for Process Equipment Operator (Sputtering/Coating Lab Technician)   for our client located in Palo Alto, CA      

  • Supports manufacturing processes  
  • Performs sputtering, honing, inspection, fixture assembly and furnace operations  
  • Works with and supports engineers and production schedulers to meet production demands  
  • Responsible for reporting any equipment material assembly issues to engineering/supervisors  
  • Operates equipment and monitors the production process to ensure efficient and safe output  
  • Follows standard operating procedures and performs in process quality checks to identify and resolve issues during processing Enters needed production data and information into logs, computer terminals, or other recording system. 
  • Follows all procedures for safe material handling and wears needed safety gear. 
  • Use priorly used code for help desk support and coordinator for the payroll department

Pay and Benefits:

  • The Salary for this position is between $25.00 and $27.00  per hour (Max Pay rate).
Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Process Equipment Operator (Sputtering/Coating Lab Technician)         
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree
  • Experience in operating vacuum coating equipment, basic understanding of vacuum technology and thin film
  • Be able to read and understand mechanical assembly drawings 
  • Proficient in MS Word/Excel 
  • Have organization skills, good communication skills 
  • Able to work independently, flexible with working extended hours if needed
