Acara Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Associate - Injection Molding for a direct placement opportunity in Gibsonton, FL:

Pay range: $15+ Based on experience

  • Sets up and operate injection molding machines
  • Responsible for set-up and troubleshooting operations of injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment
  • Ensures the correct practice is pulled up on production system screen while performing the injection operation
  • Plans and lays out work, prepares components or semi-products and monitors related hand-stock.
  • Processes the components or semi-products/products according to engineering specifications and quality standards. 
  • Understand and set-up tool with air, hydraulics, and cores 
  • Troubleshoot and dial in processes for injection molding
  • Use lifting devices to remove/install dies.
  • Monitor and maintain good documentation practices
  • Adjust machines, set controls and perform troubleshooting as required by quality criteria
  • Handle die carefully to prevent damage. (Never using metal instruments on the inside die surface)
  • Maintain the flow and quality of parts produced
  • Clean and maintain molding machines and equipment for organization and safety
  • Understand and follow manufacturing and quality instructions
  • Read and understand engineering drawings and work orders
  • Continuously perform improvement analysis
  • Assist on tooling setups and changeovers
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, quality inspectors and operators to ensure quality
  • Organizes and uses machine related tools, and equipment relevant in production. 
  • Performs basic or specifically defined maintenance operations; cooperates with maintenance technicians and/or external service providers in repair issues.
  • Use hand tools, including wrenches, allen wrenches, and screw drivers
Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:
         High School Diploma or GED
         1-year experience with plastic or ceramic injection mold processing
