Description
Acara Solutions is looking for a Packing / Material Handler for our Client located in Rockledge, FL.
- Perform duties to prepare needed documentation, arrange for the staging and shipping of products and materials and maintain related records, working within the limits of standard or accepted practice.
- Enter data to computer to generate finished good labelling in preparation for shipments.
- Follow all quality inspections needed for finished good packaging
- Calculate dimensions and weights as needed. Ensure controlled documented packing instructions are verified and processed
- Respond to inquiries, provide directions and other information to operators as needed.
- Prepare any range of special or periodic reports relating to departmental activity.
- Finished goods inventory processing
- Manage overflow and work in process partial finished goods out-processing
- Maintains work area in a clean and orderly condition in accordance with 5 S standards.
- Needs the ability to perform all duties within limitation of the standard methods and procedures, and in accordance with strict adherence to HSE, quality and productivity requirements.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Ensure quality sampling requirements are met in accordance with all documented requirements
- Support shipping department as needed
Pay and Benefits:
- The salary for this position is $ 15.00 per hour (Max Pay rate).
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as Packing / Material Handler

Additional Information:
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.

- Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines.
- There will be a need to enter the production floor and employee be subject to operate in a manufacturing production floor environment.
- Employee be subject to hazards including odors, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, vibrations, noise and temperatures.
- This needs ability to safely maneuver throughout the plant and properly wear safety gear at all times.
