Description
Acara Solutions is looking for Inbound Logistics Group Lead for our Client located in Wilton, CT.
- Manage a team of 2nd shift inbound logistics professionals in the area of factory material dispatch to factory, clean room logistics/material handlers, and EUV clean street operators.
- Manage execution of all material delivery operations in timely and accurate manner
- Oversee and measure team performance, coordinate daily with internal stakeholders on production status related to material availability and align on process improvements and communication.
- Act as business partner for operations counterparts to deliver all materials to workcenters, assist with issues with materials, and ensure all manufacturing areas are supported with logistics professionals for any potential material related questions
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree
- Minimum 5 Years' experience in Operations/Factoy environment.
- Minimum 3 years of Supervisor experience of 10+ employees
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- SAP, knowledge of internal factory logistics and corresponding processes for material flow.
- Walk me through a typical day of this employee.
- System experience ERP or computer skills.
- SAP
- Role will also be lead for process improvement initiatives for logistics organization, drive cross sectoral initiatives for LEAN and operational excellence, and to manage efficiency of processes to ensure no stagnation occurs.
- Be involved in industrialization efforts for inbound logistics organization for both process and facility layout to ensure organization and space is fit for future demand
