Description
Acara solutions is looking for a Manufacturing Technician for our client located in Rockford, TN
- Build and operate RF furnaces and simple electro-mechanical systems related to crystal growth or to crystal fabrication.
- Growing crystals used in imaging equipment
- Work with materials in the furnace
- Mix raw materials to a specified mixture
- Maintenance on equipment
- Monitor various crystal growth processes
- Operation record keeping, maintaining accurate records of all processing steps on paper and in database
- Follow process MPI documentation and safety procedures
- Electrical diagnosis of electrical equipment.
Pay and Benefits:
- The salary for this position is $24.00 per hour (Max Pay rate).
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years' Experience of working in product oriented technical-industrial environment.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Associate degree
- Hands-on laboratory experience
- Experience of working with chemicals
- Experience maintaining complex equipment used for production
- Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues
- Good communication and computer skills (Word and Excel)
- Understanding of operating electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Ability to interpret and analyse complex instrumentation
- Detail Orientated
- Ability to multitask in a fast-moving environment
- Be comfortable working in hot environment
- Electrical Background.
Additional Information:
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
