Description

Acara Solutions is looking for an Inspection Contractor for our Client located in Melbourne, FL

  • Responsible for performing inspections, tests, or audits of purchased parts, units, materials, equipment, panel/module level assemblies and quality control programs to specifications.
  • Interprets manufacturing drawings, diagrams, specifications and lists to approve or reject units, test setups, or systems for in process or final assemblies.
  • Reworks defective or malfunctioning units or systems.
  • Maintains support documentation and performs sampling and testing of incoming components, raw materials, and build of assemblies.
  • Reviews and reports performance data.
  • Ensures raw materials, in-process and finished products meet company and test standards.
  • Determines or assists in determining methods and procedures necessary for inspection.
  • Interface with customer quality representatives or suppliers.
  • Works under limited supervision.
  • Be a resource to other employees in areas of expertise.
  • Assignments are moderately difficult requiring some judgment.
  • Works under limited supervision.
  • Less detailed instructions are provided and minimal peer review
  • Work be structured within identified boundaries and procedures.
  • Follows established processes to complete tasks.
  • Identifies problems and issues in straightforward situations.
  • Resolves most issues.
  • Works to achieve operational targets within job area which has moderate impact on the overall achievement of results for the team.
  • Work is of moderate scope, typically on larger, task-related activities.
  • Communicates with contacts typically within and outside the department on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring explanation or interpretation to understand and reach agreement.
  • Performs inspections of complex Circuit Card Assemblies, Electro-Mechanical Assemblies, computer equipment chassis and racks
  • Performs in-process inspection and acceptance of repaired and reworked products
  • Performs Final Inspection of equipment, test records and stages for customer inspection
  • Performs Configuration Downtrace Audits of complete lab systems, seals equipment racks, prepares Test Logs
  • Supports Test Witness activities during Acceptance Testing Dry runs and Formal Test Activities
  • Provides support to receiving inspection of Equipment and Parts procurements
  • Monitor Test Equipment certification/calibration requirements to ensure Test Equipment remains compliant.
  • Provides Program QC support for shipment of equipment to Customer sites using the SHIP tool

Pay and Benefits:

  • The Salary for this position is $ 25.00 per hour (Max Pay rate).
 
Job Requirements
 
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED  
  • Minimum of 6 years' experience in Inspection
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree
  • Be a resource to other employees in areas of proficiency.
  • Familiarity with Asset Management Tracking (Barcode) systems such as Sunflower
  • Familiarity with Product Data Management systems such as Agile
  • Fully proficient support individual contributor
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and bills of materials
  • Ability to communicate and interface with the Customer Quality Reliability Officers (Inspectors) on a daily or weekly basis, to present finished goods, test results, and obtain Customer acceptance
  • Requires attention to detail and good interpersonal skills
  • Current ESD Certification
