Seeking to hire a Production/Plant Supervisor to provide daily supervision and training of plant teams members in the areas of: production, maintenance, health & safety, quality control, and shipping & receiving. The Plant Supervisor coordinates daily production orders and activities to fulfill order requirements ensuring customer service satisfaction. 

More specifically, the Plant Supervisor will have the following responsibilities:

  • Operates all production and mobile equipment at the branch efficiently and safely according to company, and health and safety standards.
  • Establishes safe production methods to meet production schedules and co-ordinates work activities with the team.
  • Maintains all equipment in accordance with the company maintenance program.
  • Maintains inventory storage areas, shop facilities, and all active work areas in a neat and orderly fashion according to company and 5S procedures and protocols.
  • Coordinates daily production activities with team members to provide superior customer service.
Job Requirements


Education and Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering preferred.
  • Health and Safety training in: WHMIS, Safe Work Operation, First Aid/First Responder are assets.
  • 10 - 12 years of related production manufacturing experience 

Skills and Competencies required :

  • Demonstrated knowledge of a variety of business systems such as production control, safety, quality control and logistics.
  • Knowledge of welding is essential.
  • Experience in other manufacturing environments will be recognized and considered.
  • Experience with equipment
  • Knowledgeable about measurement and test equipment.
