Description
Acara solutions is looking for Wiring Mechanic for our client located in Alpharetta, GA
- Wiring Technicians are responsible for assembling cable kits and wire harnesses according to drawings and guidelines to ensure product specifications and quality standards are met.
- They will inspect and adjust completed units to ensure that units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements.
- Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, specifications, work orders,
- bills of materials, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions
- Assemble parts or units, and position, align, and fasten units to assemblies, sub-assemblies, or frames, using hand tools and power tools
- Measure parts to determine tolerances, using precision measuring instruments such as calipers
- Align, fit, or assemble component parts, using hand or power tools, fixtures, templates, or microscopes
- Inspect parts for surface defects
- Verify part dimensions or clearances to ensure conformance to specifications
- Clean up working areas and inventory tools
Pay and Benefits:
- The Salary for this position is between $ 16.00 and $ 17.00 per hour (Max Pay rate).
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years' Direct assembly experience reading and interpreting wire diagrams
- Minimum 2 years' Experience in assembly and particularly in building wire harnesses and cable kits
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (read, speak, write)
- Ability to collaborate successfully in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to learn and process information quickly and execute tasks successfully
- Ability to work safely and to operate power tools and equipment in a safe manner
Additional Information:
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
- Ability to physically lift 35 pounds
