Description
Acara Solutions is hiring Calibration Techs in Hatfield, PA -No experience is required, on the job training is provided!
Schedule: 3:00PM-11:30PM/Monday-Friday
Job Duties:
- Test and calibrate equipment
- Troubleshooting of basic calibration problems
- Determine parameters of testing media, temperature, pressure, liquid or gas, and test fixtures used
- Operate computer assisted calibration equipment and manual equipment
- Collect data for calibration sheets for manual calibration equipment.
- Interface with Engineering on evaluations of application or product problems
- Work with customers, agents, or inspectors who want to simulate flow conditions
- Ability to follow all safety procedures
- Support company continuous improvement initiatives
Pay Range: $18.00-$20.50/hr.
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Strong basic Math skills
- Minimum of a high school diploma
- Good computer skills with Word/Excel experience
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Familiarity with various hand measuring tools and their application
- Lab environment or manufacturing experience
Physical Demands
The physical demands of kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, lifting (no more than approximately 20 lbs.), fingering, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
