Description
Acara Solutions is looking for a Brake Press Operator seeking a full time weekday shift (Monday to Thursday - 4pm - 2am.) Must have at least 1 year experience
Location - Toronto
Core Responsibilities
- Set up and operate sheet metal forming equipment according to set up sheet and instructions
- Responsible for set up with minor program changes
- Loading, forming, unloading product ranging from small pieces to larger sheet steel
- Ensure the accurate measurement of parts using measuring tape, square and other instruments
- Optimize the running of parts to best take advantage of the machines operating time
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Ability to read an imperial tape measure and blueprints is a must
- 3 years of experience in a manufacturing sector
- Experience running sheet metal forming equipment is an asset
- Excellent mechanical/mathematical aptitude and manual dexterity
- Attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Excellent organizational skills
- Adhere to Continuous Improvement manufacturing principles by checking quality of work
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
