Acara Solutions is looking for a Manufacturing Technician for Siemens Healthineers located in Hoffman Estates, IL

- We currently have an exciting opening for a Manufacturing Technician II to assemble and test medical equipment (SPECT and PET scanners), as well as assemblies for mechanical calibration with software.
- Responsibilities include but are not limited to the ability to identify and help resolve electrical and mechanical issues, mechanical alignments, performance & quality testing and loading proprietary company software.
- The ideal candidate will possess the ability to follow processes and procedures and work independently.
- Assembling and testing of SPECT and PET scanners using procedures and drawings and hand tools (cordless screwdrivers, Torque wrenches).
- Gathers and records semi-complex production information; enters data into internal computer systems.
- Participates in semi-complex repairing and retesting for product.
- Resolves semi-complex manufacturing related problems affecting daily operations.
- Participate in technical problem solving/troubleshooting support to a manufacturing environment.
- Participates in troubleshooting for machine operations to determine parameters for improving efficiency in a production environment.
Pay and Benefits:
- The Salary for this position is $23.00 per hour (Max Pay rate).
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Minimum of an Associate degree in Electronics
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Manufacturing Technician
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics
- Additionally, experienced in trouble-shooting state of the art electronics and assembling major mechanical components.
- Generally, 2 years of successful experience in area of responsibility
- Demonstrates comprehensive working knowledge of a technical or specialty area, and of operations, methods, and practices.
- Knowledge of hand tools and computer skills.
- Willing to work with Radioactive sources
- Will have held responsibilities that include maintaining area cleanliness, proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, good Record keeping and documentation skills, direct experience working with fragile products.
- One who is a self-starter and an ability to work independently is essential.
- A to 0020 achieve the highest quality possible is vital for this position.
Additional Information:
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
