Acara Solutions is seeking a Machine Operator (Buffer) for a thriving company in the semiconductor industry. The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of manufacturing or shop experience, the ability to be detail oriented, and works well in a team environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Other duties may be assigned.
o Perform complex assembly, assembly testing, adjustments and quality checks
o Review production data to identify areas on non-conformance and implement modifications as necessary
o Prepare status reports
o Work with team members to devise and develop modifications and improvements to equipment, processes, systems, and tooling
o Ensure and verify material is handled and loaded on production lines properly
o Give direction and training on product/customer specifications and workmanship standards
o Audit all stages of the build sequence for completeness, consistency, and workmanship
o Provide immediate feedback and training when problems occur
o Work independently with moderate supervision
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years experience in manufacturing/assembly
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
o Skilled in the operation of a variety of assembly tools
o Visual acuity and manual dexterity
o Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment
o Good verbal and written communication skills
o Good MS Word, Excel and MRP skills
o Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend and lift up to 50 lbs
