Acara Solutions is looking for a Laboratory Robotics Specialist/FLU lab research SME for our client located in Atlanta, GA

  • Configure and program (coding) automated/robotic liquid handling instruments to improve the throughput of influenza immunological assays working with the scientific team members.
  • Implement, maintain, and improve the automation workflow for high throughput complex influenza immune assays, to contribute to the objectives to conduct comprehensive assessment of human immunity to influenza.
  • Assist and perform validation experiments with subject matter experts
  • Perform needed maintenance and adaptations to support the automation system and its improvement
  • Assist in troubleshooting

Pay and Benefits:

  • The Salary for this position is $ 54.28 per hour (Max Pay rate).
Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Robotics Engineering
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience with Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in scientific automation/robotic
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in operating and assisting in coding for automated liquid handling systems such as Tecan, Agilent, Perkin Elmer

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Master's degree
  • Ability to work effectively with other members of a multifunctional dynamic team, and ability to handle multiple projects at one time in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry specifically influenza immunological or similar complex assay's
  • The ability to work independently and efficiently is essential
